Most pathology tests at our clinics are “walk-in” services and do not require a prior appointment. However, for specialised tests (such as glucose tolerance tests), we recommend calling your local Atticus Health clinic to confirm.
You must bring a valid pathology request form from your GP or specialist. Our collection centres can usually process forms from any pathology provider, even if the brand on the form is different from the on-site provider.
If your doctor has requested a “fasting” blood test, you should not eat or drink anything (except water) for 8 to 12 hours before your blood is drawn. We recommend visiting us early in the morning for fasting tests.
