To that end, we have put together a team of caring and compassionate mental health professionals to assist you by offering a comprehensive psychological and clinical therapy service.
Our care ranges from someone to talk to during stressful and overwhelming times, through to ongoing management of complex mental health issues.
Our mental health experts are experienced in working with people who have depression, anxiety, autism, and psychosis. As well as those with relationship problems, experiencing life crises, adjustment issues, trauma or family conflict.
In partnership with our patients we utilise a range of interventions to help people with mental health disorders, including cognitive behavioural therapy, behavioural interventions, relaxation and stress management techniques and family therapy.
In August this year we welcomed Headspace, who are co-located at our Regional MediCentre at Hastings. Headspace is an organisation providing early intervention mental health support and assistance for young people experiencing complex mental health issues.
You can access our mental health services or Headspace Hastings, with a referral from your Atticus Health GP and bulk billed sessions may be available with an approved Mental Health Care Plan.
Marie Reilly is an adult psychologist who specialises in helping a wide range of people, from those with complex mental health issues, to those of us a bit stressed or struggling to cope in these uncertain times.
With over 20 years of practical experience, Marie welcomes the opportunity to assist new patients in their journey to mental wellbeing. Marie is available for extended video or telephone Telehealth appointments and her services can be bulk-billed in conjunction with a referral and up to date Mental Health Plan from your Atticus GP.

Outside working with Atticus Health, Dr Khaira continues to work as a psychotherapist with Utopia Refugee Health Centre and the forensic mental health team at Cohealth. He graduated medical school from the University of Western Australia and then completed general practice training in Melbourne.
