What We’re Looking For:
As the ideal candidate, you should possess the following qualities and qualifications:
- A genuine interest in primary care
- A proven track record and passion for General Practice
- A commitment to delivering top-notch patient care
- Exceptional customer service skills and a welcoming telephone manner
- Professional and well-presented, representing our practice positively
- Proactive, self-driven, and detail-oriented
- Proficiency in computer skills
- A strong interest in chronic disease management and preventative medicine
- IV cannulation skills (desirable)
- A current Victorian driver’s license (preferred)
What You’ll Be Doing:
In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Recalling patients for health assessments and care plans
- Patient triage and preventative screening
- Administering iron infusions
- Conducting venepuncture and therapeutic venesection
- Performing ECG and spirometry diagnostic investigations
- Managing wounds
- Administering immunizations
- Assisting GP’s in minor procedures
