Ever find yourself at a loose end on a Sunday morning? Why not check out the local market that is held every week at Bittern. It’s a local tradition that’s been running for over 30 years with a fantastic community vibe. It’s fun for the whole family, including your furry friends. As long as your dogs are on a leash, they’re welcome to enjoy perusing the stalls with you.
You can grab a delicious iced coffee while you browse new and second-hand goods and locally-made crafts, or pick up some seedlings to add to your garden. I like to buy a few dozen eggs from the stall that also sometimes has adorable chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits and ducks waiting to go home with you.
The market is held from 8am-12pm every Sunday. There is no entry cost, and the parking is also free. It is located right across the road from our Bittern clinic, outside the Bittern Railway Station on the Stony Point train line.
Enjoy your morning out with the local Peninsula community 🙂
