Our doctors generally visit nursing homes at a scheduled time during the week and importantly our 1800 ATTICUS telephone number is able to be called 24/7 if you need help. Alongside this, our doctors make after hours visits where and when required.
Many years ago, we started involving ourselves in aged care. Because we found it to be an important job and there's frankly lots to do, we built on that. We now find ourselves being one of the largest providers of medical services to nursing homes in Melbourne.
In particular, we service many nursing homes throughout the Mornington Peninsula and south east region in Melbourne.
We currently provide medical and allied health services to nursing homes and retirement villages throughout south east Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula.
In the future, we hope to increase our level of support to the aged and frail living at home as well. Watch this space.
If you are a new patient to our service, you can expect that we will be committed to caring for you or your loved one in a very human and dedicated way. And, that we will provide support to you 24/7.
Along the way, in 2017 we were a finalist as Outstanding Organisation, HESTA Aged Care Awards. This was a an accolade given to our for our efforts in pioneering improved services in this area.
In keeping with this, as we go, we continue to try to improve what we do in aged care and we hope to be part of a bright future and bring that to you.
If you would like to find out more about our service, please call 1800 ATTICUS (1800 288 4287). Our aged care coordinator will be able to guide you.
